Kyle Thompson, Financial Advisor, joined the C-J Advisory Team in November 2016. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Michigan State University, he has spent nearly 10 years helping clients achieve their financial AND personal goals. He spent the past 5 years at TD Ameritrade working with individuals, families, and small businesses. He takes a holistic approach to each client’s unique situation and prides himself on providing advice to enhance every aspect of their financial life.
Kyle holds insurance licenses for Life, Disability and Health along with his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) professional designation.
Outside of the office, Kyle maintains an active lifestyle with his wife Ashley. Together they enjoy golfing, mountain biking, playing ice hockey, photography and walking their two dogs.
Janet Josselyn, AIF®
Janet joined the team in January 2018 and works with the firm’s lead advisors to develop and implement financial planning strategies for clients.
Prior to joining C-J Advisory, Inc., Janet was a Client Services Manager and Financial Planning Analyst. Throughout her career, Janet has greatly enjoyed helping individuals and families achieve their personal financial goals.
She earned the AIF® designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies in 2018. The AIF Designation certifies she has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process.
Janet holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from New Mexico State University.
In her spare time Janet enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Associate Wealth Coordinator
Shirley joined C-J Advisory in January 2001. She has 17 years of experience in servicing our clients and participating in client meetings. Prior to her starting a career in Financial Planning she worked in the health care industry. She received a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning through an extension program supported by UC Santa Cruz.
Shirley lives in the bay area where she was born and raised. She volunteers with Meals on Wheels and enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending quality time with her friends and their dogs.
Jen joined the C-J Advisory team in May 2005 and works part-time as an administrative assistant. Jen works behind the scenes on special projects, assisting in the daily needs of the office and provides administrative support to all facets of the business.
Jen’s hobbies include traveling, concerts, snowboarding, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She gives back to the community through volunteer efforts at the local Food Bank helping people in need throughout the Bay Area.
Lupe joined the C-J Advisory team in May of 2019. Lupe facilitates the operational needs of the office and promotes CJA's expertise as the Brand Ambassador. Before joining the C-J Advisory team, Lupe worked as a content writer and office manager for a mural advertising company in Brooklyn, New York. She has a degree in English and Creative Writing from Mills College.
Her hobbies include roller skating, swimming and attending local music shows. She volunteers with the San Jose Public Library and Vitas Healthcare.
